Full and Partial Dentures – Dentures are removable appliances used to replace missing teeth. Dentures are made after natural teeth have been extracted and healed. Dr. Fesmire offers both full and partial dentures.
Root Canals – Root canals are necessary when the nerve and pulp inside of a tooth become damaged beyond repair. Dr. Fesmire performs root canals to repair and save these teeth that are badly decayed or infected. During a root canal, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Symptoms of teeth that may be infected are lingering sensitivity or pain to hot or cold, pain in biting pressure, swelling, and throbbing.

Surgical Procedures
Extractions – Dr. Fesmire can do most extractions in his office when the need arises. Non-restorable, severely fractured or abscessed teeth as well advanced periodontal disease or orthodontic needs are all reasons why a tooth may need to be pulled. Patients with impacted teeth or those who require intravenous sedation may be referred to an oral surgeon.
Oral Surgery – In addition to extractions Dr. Fesmire does other minor oral surgery procedures such as soft tissue augmentations including frenectomies and crown lengthening and hard tissue procedures including bone grafting and alveoloplasty (bone reduction).
Laser Dentistry and Other Services
Laser Dentistry – Dr. Fesmire’s diode laser allows him to perform a variety of minor oral surgery and periodontal procedures painlessly and efficiently.
Snore Guards, Night guards for Teeth Grinding or Clenching, and Custom Athletic Mouthguards – A custom biteguard will offer an increased comfort and fit that over-the-counter appliances cannot. Dr. Fesmire can fit and fabricate a guard specifically designed for you that will make a world of difference in everything from a good night’s sleep, to easing the discomfort of a painful temporomandibular joint.
Restorative Dentistry
Fillings – Dr. Fesmire primarily uses tooth-colored fillings in order to create the most natural smiles. Fillings are used to treat cavities and to repair cracked or broken teeth.
Crowns and Bridges – A dental crown restores a compromised tooth to the ideal size and shape with a natural appearance. If applied early enough crowns can save these compromised teeth, prevent nerve damage and avoid root canals. Dr. Fesmire can also create a bridge as an option for replacement of one or more teeth. To do this, both sides of the missing teeth are crowned and porcelain teeth are bridged across the span. Bridges are cemented and non-removable.
